Current Colorado RN licensure required. Must be American Heart Association BLS certified upon employment. ACLS, basic ECG competency and PALS.DUTIES:Plans for and utilizes nursing process to meet needs of patients of all ages.Includes assessment, planning(discharge, nursing care), implementation and evaluation. (Assess per chart review)Performs treatment in a safe and effective manner.Administers medications in a safe and timely manner.Maintains responsibility for preparation, interpretation and evaluation of test data.Demonstrates knowledge and skills to act appropriately in an emergency situation.Demonstrates knowledge and participates in education and counseling of patients and significant other in a plan of care.Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competency. May be required to complete periodic mandatory education as established by the Education Director and the Director of Medical/Surgical Nursing.Promotes positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates effective communication skills.Maintains confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.Practices according to professional and ethical standards and enforces the same. Copies of certifications required for the position thatare listed in the Job Description.oSuch as: BLS and ACLS must be AHA, and PALS. Immunization records including documentation of immunity to Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, Hep B and Tetanus. TB test within the last year. Acceptable tests include QuantiFERON or Tspot or TrueTwostep PPD (which means skins test and read must be done 2 times not just once. If they do not have the Two step PPD already it will take a few weeks to get it, so the other options are suggested.) Influenza shot is required by the State of Coloradono exceptionsduring influenza season. Influenza season is Sept 1st(depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to March 31stof the following year, or as otherwise defined by the Department of Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team. Confirmation of having received the COVID Vaccine (copy of vaccine card). Copy of negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the last 30 days). Resume with work experience. Documented references. Proof of all required Regulatory (OSHA) Training. Assessment of skills/competencies. Results of criminal background check including OIG (within the last 30 days). CAPS check through the State of Colorado (required for all patient care positions).I will also need a W-9 for your company.
