The patient eligibility technician is responsible for ensuring subject eligibility for clinical studies, based on protocol criteria and within required timeframes. * Verify subject medical records by ensuring that information corresponds to the study protocol. * Update subject medical records in the electronic database. * Perform medical follow-up with subjects by phone or in writing (including clinically significant results and files put on hold). * Ensure that medical records are approved by physicians in order to determine subject eligibility. * Perform quality control and follow-up for all screening documents. * Update certain reports following the acceptance of subjects on-study. * Assist in compiling information for their team's performance indicators. * Perform inter-study transfers. * Write letters and ensure they are transferred to subjects. * May be assigned other clinical tasks. * Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management. Position in US * Phlebotomist & Medical Assistants (CMA or RMA) * In lieu of degree, 2 years of experience on related field Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable.This determination ensures the jobholder has sufficient technical ability to perform the role. Minimum experience/training required * One to 2 years of work experience. * Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel and clinical software. * Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade. * Experience in regulatory context will be considered an asset. Position in US: * Spanish level: Required bilingualism includes understanding various messages, exchanging verbally on subjects related to the tasks to be executed, and writing simple messages. Other (optional): Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.COVID Policy: Syneos Health has a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy. We strongly encourage all employees to be fully vaccinated. Additionally, certain local governments or Syneos Health customers may have vaccine requirements that apply to some of our employees. These employees are required to submit proof of vaccination to Syneos Health and maintain compliance with these requirements.
