Job Title:WelderII Location: South Chesterfield, VA What we are looking for: We are looking for a Welderwhowill be responsible for spot welding shelves to be used in the assembly process. What you will be responsible for in this role: : Operate resistance welder, spot welder, robotic welder, MIG and/or TIG welding.: Basic understanding of spot welding, computer programs for setup of machine and tips used to spot weld.: Previous Buffing experience required.: Identify proper tools for spot welding fixtures on shelves. (Stainless to GU): Ability to read and comprehend all work orders and blueprints.: Perform preventative maintenance on spot weld machines.: Ability to communicate status of assigned projects to supervisors. What are the basic qualifications? : HS Diploma/GED: Previous welding experience is preferred.: Must be able to operate power tools and perform tasks that require fine motor skills (ex: threading nuts onto bolts, starting a screw, etc.): May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.: Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs.).: Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
