Core Responsibilities --- Be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work --- Maintain a positive work environment --- Begin by helping set up cutters and machine guards --- Check that the cutter turns off and on correctly --- Continuously feed the cutter with raw material, observing for foreign material --- Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment --- Help change blades on cutters, as needed; requiring use of specialized PPE --- Fills out cut room paperwork --- Assist with daily sanitation clean-up --- Maintaining floor free of slip and trip hazards, removing waste materials --- Maintain halls and floors free of slip and trip hazards --- Maintain workspace cleanliness --- Assist supervisor or lead in any assigned task --- Follow basic food safety regulations --- Follow basic safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment --- May require use of electric pallet jack, as needed Qualifications --- Able to lift 70 lbs and push 600 lbs tubs.
