The candidate should preferably have a strong and demonstratable background involving one or more of the following: healthcare M&A, including private equity transactions with health systems; business entity legal matters; health law compliance matters, including federal and Florida fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, self-referral, and fee-splitting laws; professional regulation and discipline, AHCA, and state licensure laws; federal and state patient confidentiality laws, and cyber security issues; physician, medical practice, and midlevel professional representation (including start-ups and alternative practice models); behavioral health; DME; pharmacy; laboratory; managed care contracting (FFS, capitation, and value-based); and document drafting, review, and negotiation. Must be (or in the process of being) admitted to practice in Florida. This firm has three offices location in Florida, including Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater. The firm has been practicing for over 40 years and strongly believes in open and honest communication with each client and with colleagues. The main goal of this firm is to assist clients in accomplishing their goals while remaining economically efficient.
