The Water Department is currently recruiting for "Equipment Operator II(Utility)."SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Acts as a lead worker and is responsible for diagnostics, scheduling, coordinating, and maintenance repairs of the city's water and wastewater systems.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. Backhoe operator experience is required. Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C). Must obtain (class B) within 6 months and (class A) within 1 year. TCEQ Class C distribution desired or should be obtained within 3 years of employment. TCEQ Class II wastewater collection license desired or should be obtained within 4 years of employment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Qualified applicants may view the full job description below and complete a job application online.
