Little League World Series Event Staff-MIDNIGHT SHIFT Dates of Employment are August 8-25, 2024 Are you observant and put safety and security first? Do you possess an outgoing, friendly, and inclusive personality and enjoy working with the public? Do you have the capacity and stamina to stand for prolonged periods of time while giving a great guest experience? The World Series event held in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, from August 14-25th is looking to hire Part-Time Seasonal World Series Event Staff MIDNIGHT SHIFT . This position would earn $13 per hour and work Midnight to 8:30 AM. Due to the nature of our youth organization, all Event Staff positions are contingent upon ability to pass required background checks. Midnight shift staff must pass additional background checks that include PA clearances. ABOUT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL Located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. Little League is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world. We believe in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. EVENT STAFF DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Helping the event run smoothly by staffing entrances and working with security to maintain order and enforce rules. They also contribute to the guest experience by answering questions, giving directions, and helping ensure a safe environment. QUALIFICATIONS FOR LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES EVENT STAFF Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to stay alert and vigilant from Midnight to 8:30 AM. Must prioritize the safety and experience of our guests. Value and display our core values of Teamwork, Fun, Inclusion, Community, and Integrity Safety conscious and vigilant with a willingness to learn and implement event rules and regulations as well as learn the layout of the complex. Must be observant with good eyesight, hearing, speech, and communication skills. Capacity and stamina to stand, stoop and bend for prolonged periods of time regardless of weather conditions. Able to manage stressful situations and remain calm. Good decision-making skills Possess a pleasant outgoing demeanor, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills. Ability to be flexible and adapt to different situations. Must adhere to dress code and maintain and neat and professional appearance. Must be within commuting distance to South Williamsport, PA and have reliable transportation. Demonstrate reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality.
