Requirements: Unified Electronic Medical Record Vermont Configuration Team Vision: To achieve a technology-based business transformation in order to pivot the participating agencies into a strategic role within the Vermont healthcare landscape. Unified Electronic Medical Record Vermont Configuration Team Mission: To achieve this vision, the mission is to deliver a unified and standardized electronic medical record system across all four (or more) participating agencies that: 1. Improves the internal operations of the agencies,2. Fosters a new era of data integration with UEMRVT-C's mainstream healthcare partners and data driven care,3. While using the project as a platform for stronger partnerships with key stakeholders, such as the State of Vermont. Purpose of Position : Responsible for providing solution knowledge, implementation methodology experience and process design to client teams and projects representing their domain of expertise. The position will recommend and implement solutions to client needs based on best practices. . MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Takes ownership and initiative of projects and communicate status updates to UEMRVT and Netsmart project team members, managing multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 2. Displays willingness to readily and voluntarily take ownership of highly challenging situations.3. Provides solution knowledge and troubleshooting services in complex environments. 4. Provides gap analysis and process redesign recommendations based on best practices. 5. Executes team and project planning with minimal assistance while staying within, monitoring and reporting against project scope. 6. Assists UEMRVT teams in current state analysis of department workflows. 7. Prepares/plans for file build, testing and conversion project tasks. 8. Manages and troubleshoots implementation issues for solutions and clients for which they are responsible. 9. Identifies solutions to issues and works across the matrix to solve the issues. 10. Contributes to team financial and operational goals by maximizing efficiency and demand for billable time. 11. Develops and improves implementation methodology by contributing to and leveraging recommended practices and supporting project collateral. 12. Build and test assigned solutions. 13. Demonstrate proficiency in change management including project communication and relationship development. 14. Participates in continuous professional development to grow solution expertise and business acumen, taking an active role in personal career development. 15. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills COMPUTER SKILLS : Proficiency is required in a Windows Operating System to include competency in all applications in the Microsoft Office programs Suite. Other specialty software and applications abilities specific to this position may also be required, such as the Agency's electronic medical record system. Additionally, proficiency is required with day-to-day information entry and retrieval in the employee electronic expense tracking system and electronic payroll self-entry system. LANGUAGE SKILLS : Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with others, at all levels of an organization. Ability to speak effectively before groups of consumers or employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, program instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to document services provided using professional and accurate language. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to perform basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division. Ability to calculate percentages, tips, or discounts, and apply mathematical concepts and techniques such as probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to the solution of practical problems. REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with little to no instruction. Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables where only limited standardization may exist.
