Overview : For this position, we are seeking full-time candidates that can produce high quality results in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high priority for consistency, safety, and sanitation. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of reliability and professionalism in a kitchen environment. Responsibilities: Ability to read, comprehend , and follow r estaurant f ood m anual, r ecipes, and i nstruction g uides Following a p rep l ist and p rioritizing c ompletion based on par l evels and r estaurant n eed Adhering to p roduct d ate l abelling and f ood s torage h ierarchy g uidelines, as outlined by r estaurant p olicy and h ealth d epartment r egulations Prepare r ecipes by m easuring i ngredients, b oiling, b roiling, b aking, s auteing, and u sing p roper c ooling m ethods Cleaning, s anitizing, and d etailing the p rep w orkspace as n eeded and as r equired by r estaurant p rotocol Managing t ime e ffectively and w orking e fficiently to y ield h igh q uality f ood p roducts Operating, m aintaining , c leaning, and s anitizing all k itchen e quipment per i nstruction Following all s afety and s anitation p rocedures as well as r estaurant p rotocols Ensuring only q uality f inished p roducts are s erved to our g uests Using p roper p ortioning u tensils and f ollowing r ecipe g uidelines Working c ooperatively with other k itchen t eam m embers and m anagement Ability to m ulti- t ask and c omplete t asks s afely and e fficiently Safe h andling, u se, and s torage of s anitation and c leaning c hemicals Required Qualifications: Must be 18 Years old to apply Strong attention to detail High standards of cleanliness Ability to lead and take direction Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations Team-oriented attitude What We Offer: Spring & Main provides a fun and family-friendly work environment.
