We are currently seeking a Sales Leader VP : SLED to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US:VA), United States (US). NTT DATA's Public Sector Vertical currently seeks an accomplished Sales Leader to drive growth inits US State Local and Education Team (SLED). The Vice President,SLED Sales will be responsible for establishing and executing growth plans through sales executive, and sales operations oversight. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas across SLED market, and direct experience with market entry. To fulfill the requirements of this Executive opening, the individual performing the position should have exceptional communication skills with C:Level executives in the client community. The ideal candidate musthave a successful track record of driving sales throughgovernment and industry relationships, and ensuring sales executives are successfully and effectively closing deals through the various sales cycles in major states and municipalities. Working knowledge of the overall SLED organizational structure, operating environment, major IT applications, and acquisition processes is required. Specific responsibilities of the new Vice President will include: :Sales leadership experience within a matrixed organization, e.g., SI, Professional Services and/or Management Consulting:Demonstrate success in drivinggrowth in new markets and expanding with existing clients:Understanding of SLED:related organizations such as the National Association of State CIO's (NASCIO) and other related industry organizations:Track record of managing lobbyists and relationship assets in multiple states:Pipeline management of a team with an annual TCVtarget of 750M+:Oversee, lead, hire, train and promote continuous development of sales professionals:Significant domestic travel and direct client / prospect interaction is expected; the Vice President will spend significant time with the SLED sales executives in the field coaching, mentoring, and establishing client relationships for key opportunities and accounts:Extensive client and industry relationships (hardware and software OEM's, hyperscalers, other relevant product partner relationships):Proven ability to develop, socialize and execute Go:to:Market strategies:Demonstrate successful experience working with interdisciplinary account teams, e.g., Delivery, Operations, Contracts, Capture, Solution Architects, Finance, and Recruiting:Proven ability to employ solution:selling techniques to identify business needs and develop customized solutions to solve client business problems:Demonstrate success as a dynamic executive leader in customer relationship building, industry engagement and marketing efforts :Strong writing skills required Minimum Education and Experience Required: : Bachelors degree in business, marketing, sales, or computer science. Advanced degree desirable. : 10 years of experience working within SLED Agencies. A demonstrated understanding of SLED Agencies organization, priorities, and strategic direction is essential.: 12+ years of experience in a large SI, Professional Services and/or Management Consulting firm, with at least 10 years of management experience.: 10+ years of experience with the SLED acquisition process.: 10+ years of experience as an individual contributor selling IT Solutions or Professional Services: 7+ years managing sales professionals selling IT Solutions or Professional Services USSalesJobs LI:SGA INDSALES About NTT DATA Services NTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT
