Lead Electronics Technician

Summary Our company is seeking a Lead Electronics Technician to assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as Wire Harness', control boxes and circuit boards. Successful candidates are independent, self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking. They also must have a high standard for the quality of their own work and the ability to monitor it. Additionally, they must be highly detail oriented in order to meet the needs of the assemblies they are building. Duties and Responsibilities Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications Iterate/maintain old work instructions and write new ones where needed Assemble IPC Class 2 & 3 Wire Harnesses and assemblies in low to mid volume Guide other operators through complex harness assembly where needed. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure product quality and functionality. Complete device history records and daily production logs Maintain a clean and safe workspace Complete other tasks as necessary Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate 5+ years of recent experience manufacturing a variety of assemblies (Wire Harness', circuit boards, control boxes) Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and Class 3 requirements Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. IPC-610 Certification required, IPC-620 and J-STD preferred Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions Manual dexterity Mainstream Engineering Corporation is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
