The RN responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis. Minimum Qualifications New graduate RN with less than one year of experience. Obtain licensure in the state of Oregon within 3 months of hire. Must have Oregon state RN licensure before beginning the program. Obtain BLS and NRP certification within 3 months of hire and maintain as current. Completion of intermediate and advanced AWHONN electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) prior to being hired preferred, or completion of intermediate EFM within three months of labor training and completion of advanced AWHONN EFM within one year of the completion of labor training. - Essential Job Functional Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the nursing process. Assumes responsibility for own clinical competency and professional development. Participates in the responsible management of healthcare resources. Demonstrates the ability manage obstetrical emergencies with proficiency and knowledge. Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team.
