Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Field Representative Staff (SQFR) to support Florida. The position will require working flexible hours and travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers across the US and possibly some international suppliers. Duties include:Performance at suppliers of scheduled Purchase Order (PO) review, product source inspections, first articles, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective / preventive actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action RequestsSupport Supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs and program management activitiesSupport (as required) supplier's failure / diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activitiesPerform Quality Management System and Special Process surveysPerform on-going surveillance of supplier's conformance to Lockheed Martin requirement documents and provide written reportsProvide technical liaison support related to quality engineering mattersEnsure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with supplier dailyAdditionally, candidates may be required to work in a manufacturing environment that would require standing and the use the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye / hearing protection, or other protective equipment designed to protect people from workplace Basic Qualifications: Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience/ specialized training commensurate with assignment.Must have ability to obtain a security clearanceExperience with:* Manufacturing and inspection of electronic and mechanical components or assemblies* Welding, Machining, and associated inspection(s) * APQP/AS9145/ AS9102 (First Article Inspections) methodology/implementation and tool usage* Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemsUnderstanding of audits, special processes, and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with suppliers to support the ProgramExtensive technical knowledge and experience in Supplier QualityStrong background in understanding engineering drawing requirements including GD&T, electrical and mechanical inspection methods, a basic understanding of special process surveys and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with a supplier daily to support MFC ProgramsThe candidate must be capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems, be able to focus on continual improvement practices, using tools like SPC and Root Cause Analysis to drive Corrective and Preventive Action experienceAble to utilize Microsoft programs in support of the daily assignments to help communicate with the supplier and Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Dallas managementStrong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environmentStrong communication skills (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment and weekly reportsMust be able to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Sub-contracts (Buyers) and Government RepresentativesMust be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all program supplier quality engineering activitiesAble to lift objects, parts, etc. of up to 35 pounds periodically for review and assessmentAbility to work flexible hours and possible weekendsAbility and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment that would require standing and the use the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye / hearing protection, or other protective equipment designed to protect people from workplace Desired Skills: A basic understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP business system and Procure to Pay (P2P)Experience performing Quality Management System and Special Process surveysASQ Certifications (CQE, CQA or CQIA) Experience with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt)Experience with high temperature materials (e.g., carbon-carbon composites) Working knowledge of military and commercial specificationsExperience with Battery TechnologyExperience with electrical/electronics assembly (PWB and Cabling) Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
