This position involves representing clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges, with hearings comprising approximately half to two-thirds of the workload. Duties and qualifications include:Job Overview: Join a Social Security Disability law firm to represent clients in hearings, answer client inquiries, review and develop pre-hearing and hearing level cases, conduct legal research, write pre-hearing brief memorandums and draft appeals council briefs.Duties:Represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.Answer client questions and inquiries.Review and develop pre-hearing and hearing-level cases.Conduct legal research.Write pre-hearing brief memorandums.Draft appeals council briefs.Regular client contact via telephone, in person, mail, and email.Requirements:Attorney License.Reliability and Dependability.Eagerness to Learn and Make a Difference.Strong Communication Skills, Both Oral and Written.Excellent Legal Writing Skills.Ability to Travel to and from Hearings in Other Cities and States Up to 70% of the Time.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar.Skills:Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.Ability to handle fulfilling, challenging, and rewarding workloads.Excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.Benefits Offered:Fast-paced, professional environment.Fulfilling, challenging, and rewarding workloads.Great team environment.Paid holidays, paid time off.Comprehensive medical benefits package.Employee wellness program.Competitive salary with 401(k) and profit sharing.
