Aldersgate Church is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, hard-working, team player who has a passion for working with students. The Student Pastor will have the primary responsibility of overseeing the student ministry (6th-12th grade) through nurturing, discipling, and building relationships with students and their families.The vision for the church is disciples making disciples, therefore we are looking for someone eager to mentor and replicate and empower others.The ideal candidate would prioritize the spiritual formation of young adults through scripture, community, accountability, and discipleship. He or she would also be gifted at seeing and calling out gifts in others to promote both individual and community growth.The staff of Aldersgate Church is highly collaborative, so teamwork and contributions to the body of the church are a must.Ideally the candidate would have a bachelors or masters in ministry, youth and family studies, or the like. The candidate must align with the faith foundation of the Global Methodist Church. He or she must live a life aligned with the biblical standards of a leader.
