Job Description: We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a very important client. Requirement: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:* * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience* Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design, implementation and delivery.* Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication* Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals* Hands-on experience performing CICS systems programming and problem resolution in a mainframe z/OS sysplexed operating system environment with "Intermediate-level" knowledge and understanding of both CICS and OEM products and how they interact Ability to read CICS dumps and traces is a plus.* Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement* Knowledgeable across CICS Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security), Connectivity (planning, securing)* Understanding in the following platform products and features within z/Series CICS: CICS Transaction Server, CICS Plex System Manager(CPSM, WUI) , VSAM RLS, CICS Webservices(CWS, Sockets, IPIC, TCPIP), CICS Security(Keyring, Certificates, TLS, resource access, ACF2, RACF), USS (Unix Systems Services), CICS connectivity (LU6.2, MRO, ISC, CWS, Sockets, TCPIP, EXCI)* Knowledge of these OEM products: CAFC, SYSII, Mainview, Xpediter, Abend-aid/FX* Knowledge of SYSPLEX and CICSPLEX design, architecture, supportAdditional Skills:Have Mainframe CICS knowledge and experienceAbility to consultatively articulate complex technicalfindings to more experienced management in clear,concise, understandable terms* Proficient knowledge and understanding in thefollowing key areas:* Hardware Architecture (performance testing,monitoring, operations)* Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, programmanagements, network management)* Design (compliance, security)* Network Engineering (planning, provision)* Proficient in more than one specific infrastructuretechnology* Executes against understanding of best practices andClient policies#PandoPandoLogic.
