We buy, sell and deliver fresh, high quality protein products and other foods to over 6,000 retail and foodservice customers. Typically 5 day work week (Saturdays as needed) Various routes and shift times available Level of Touch: Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions Equipment Newer Freightliner's and Internationals Mostly automatic with some manual Governed speed: 65 MPH (on most trucks) All trucks equipped with cameras Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record No DUI/DWIs in last 3 years Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 60 miles of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate for this position
