Job description Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically those with autism. You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans and interventions, helping individuals improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life. Responsibilities: Implement individualized behavior plans designed by the BCBA. Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients. Teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mealtime routines, and household chores. Collect data on client progress and behavior using established methods. Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify care plans as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
