Position: Director of FacilitiesLocation: Vail, COJob Summary:The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all facilities within the organization. This includes managing a team of facility maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and controlling facility operating costs.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all facilities- Manage a team of facility maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all facilities- Control facility operating costs and develop budgets for facility maintenance and operations- Oversee the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for facility maintenance- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs- Represent the organization in facility-related matters with external stakeholdersQualifications:- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields preferred- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role- Strong leadership and team management skills- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to develop and manage budgets- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management softwareOur Company:Timbers Company is a developer and operator of exceptional boutique hotels, residence clubs and resort communities located in some of the most sought-after destinations in the world.
