Please follow this link for a closer look at what it's like to work at Children's Wisconsin: https://www.instagram.com/lifeatcw/ Job Title: RN- ENTWork Schedule: 40 hours Monday- Friday 8:30-5pm with one remote day per weekWhat you will do:Phone Triage, Med Refills, In basket messaging, Complex care needs in clinic, prior auth, care coordination, some direct care, some direct patient care (will be responsible for RN only clinic visits up to 1 day/week, clinic is mainly med assistant based. We serve 30,000 patients annually. Large, busy, growing department!The pediatric nurse functions with demonstrated expertise in the delivery of direct nursing care to children with a variety of health care needs and their families within a specific ambulatory clinic. Assists in establishing and maintaining a quality standard of nursing care for a defined pediatric population. Partners with healthcare team and assesses, prioritizes and provides nursing care to clinic patient population. Meets specific requirements, goals, and competencies established within each ambulatory clinic.What you will need:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (BSN is preferred).Prefer two years pediatric and/or specialty nursing experience with emphasis on managing patients with chronic/complex health care needs.A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training may be recommended through Children's University within 1 year of hire.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
