Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Research Associate III Position type: Full-time Contract Duration: 12 months Contract Location: Oceanside, CA-Onsite As a Research Associate III, you will: MORE INFO ON SKILL SET: POSITION SUMMARY Description Key Responsibilities: * Participate in end-to-end Cell Line Development pipeline projects, including activities from vector design and construction to clonal cell lines ready for Master Cell Bank generation. * Support CLD activities including clone selection, technology development, media development, process optimization, and process characterization studies. * Support process improvements for increased speed and efficiency to generate highly productive, high quality, robust cell lines that meet all regulatory requirements with high quality documentation. * Hands-on laboratory operations such as molecular biology, shake flask, bench scale bioreactor and novel culture platforms. * Contribute to written technical reports, present in group meetings, and work cross-functionally to achieve common goals. Education : * BS (or MS) with 5+ years' experience in a relevant scientific discipline (biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering). Qualifications/Skills: * Experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO) and automation/high-throughput technologies for mammalian cell line generation and process optimization preferred. * Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills and aptitude for creative problem solving. * Strong organizational and planning skills. * Experience in statistics and data analysis (e.g. JMP, Spotfire).
