Job Title: Librarian Location: Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Justice Building Main Library, U.S. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Qualifications: At least 3 years of professional experience in a law library or academic library with a strong focus on legal resources. Demonstrated ability to provide high-level reference and research services. Experience with library management systems, digital databases, and e-resource technology. Duties: Providing research and reference services to support the legal and investigative needs of DOJ staff. Managing the acquisition, cataloging, and development of the library's collections. Supervising library staff including Library Technicians and part-time assistants. Developing and conducting training sessions on legal research and the use of library resources. Overseeing the maintenance of the library catalog and digital resources. Collaborating with other departmental libraries and external organizations to enhance service offerings.
