The candidate will play a crucial role in providing clients with updates, communicating with insurance companies, and representing clients in various legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. Exceptional negotiation skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for success in this role. Duties:Provide clients with timely updates on the status of claims, demands, and offersEngage in effective communication with insurance companies regarding claim mattersAttend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clientsUtilize experience to evaluate claims and develop effective strategiesNegotiate settlements and agreements with insurance companies and opposing partiesDraft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as requiredConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesCollaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case managementMaintain accurate and organized case files and documentation Requirements:Membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing2+ years of litigation experience, with preference given to candidates with First Party Property Damage experienceStrong understanding of claim evaluation processes and legal principlesExcellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Member of the Florida Bar in good standing Skills:Superb negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLegal research and analytical abilitiesCase management and organization skills Benefits:Competitive wagePaid time off, holiday, bereavement, and sick time401K retirement savings plan with firm matchGroup medical/dental/vision plansEmployer-covered supplemental benefitsVoluntary supplemental benefitsAnnual performance reviews
