The ideal candidate should be adept at handling various aspects of litigation with minimal supervision and must possess strong academic credentials, excellent research, and writing skills.Duties:Handle various aspects of litigation with minimal supervision.Interview witnesses and gather pertinent information.Review electronically stored documents for case preparation.Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct and defend depositions.Interact with clients and opposing counsel.Attend certain court appearances.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience.Preferably experience in business disputes or healthcare-related litigation.Experience with payment disputes, vendor disputes, government investigations, and False Claims Act cases is advantageous.Strong academic credentials.Excellent research and writing skills.Education:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in Ohio is mandatory.Skills:Ability to handle most aspects of litigation independently.Proficient in interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.Skilled in reviewing electronically stored documents.Strong drafting and argumentation skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Familiarity with federal court procedures or appellate cases is a plus.
