The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex entity formations, asset/stock purchase and sale transactions, and secured financing. Familiarity with tax concepts and experience in private placement securities offerings will be advantageous. Admission to practice law in Oregon is required; admission to practice law in Washington is preferable. This mid-sized firm has a long history of providing outstanding legal services in the Pacific Northwest. Their clients include corporations, individuals, and government entities from around the world. The firm practices corporate, litigation, intellectual property, real estate, tax, and other types of law. Attorneys are allowed to choose the work that they find most interesting, and they are given excellent training and support in a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere. Pro bono work is encouraged, and the firm is very active in the community. Billable hours requirements are reasonable, and attorneys at this firm frequently participate in social activities outside of work.Additional Skills: The candidate should have strong oral and written communication skills, paying attention to detail.
