Location: Macomb: Shelby Township, MI,United States (US)Employment Status: Hourly Full:TimeFunction: Manufacturing Basic Function: Programming, set:up, and operation of CNC machining centers We are seeking a skilled Vertical Haas Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Vertical Haas Machines to produce high:quality machined parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities : Set up Vertical Haas Machines according to job specifications and blueprints. : Operate Vertical Haas Machines to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, and tapping. : Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tolerance and meet quality standards. : Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. : Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency. : Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. : Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. : Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus. : Experience operating Vertical Haas Machines in a manufacturing environment. : Experience with Haas control systems. : Ability to program using G:code. : Strong understanding of machining principles and practices. : Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. : Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. : Excellent problem:solving skills and attention to detail. : Ability to work independently and as part of a team. : Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. : Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. : Commitment to safety and quality.
