Summary This is a general yard worker role, in which individuals will be assembling orders, wrapping completed pallets, and loading them onto customer vehicles with a forklift. Individuals will be certified to utilize a forklift by Coastal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Receive customer order slips from supervisor, gather correct products by hand or with forklift, assemble orders for customer, leave in designated spot for pick up: Safely utilize forklift to move completed pallets to staging areas, or to load pallets onto vehicles: Work directly with customers in a friendly, professional, positive manner to check orders: Perform basic, routine maintenance to include rechargingbatteries; lubricating, fueling and cleaning forklift: Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned area: Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
