As a vital part of our team, the Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. Responsibilities: As the Controller , you will lead our accounting team and oversee financial operations. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Monitoring : Closely monitoring the financial health of the hospice by analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance issues. Reporting : Producing comprehensive financial-status reports for senior managers to enhance operational efficiency and support continued growth. Guiding Financial Decisions : Applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape to guide financial decisions. Financial Controls : Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines. Budgeting : Achieving budgeting goals through proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions. Payroll Efficiency : Maximizing payroll efficiency through innovative process development. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have: Experience : A background as an accountant, preferably in a senior role within the industry. Communication Skills : Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical Abilities : Skilled financial analysis capabilities.
