The agency oversees services for child safety, fostering, adoption, domestic violence, adult protective services, refugees, homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, childcare providers, human trafficking and public assistance. The agency's mission is to work in partnership with local communities to protect the vulnerable, promote strong and economically self:sufficient families, and advance personal and family recovery and resiliency. Within DCF, theSubstance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) Programoffice is recognized as the single state authority for substance abuse and mental health services. The Office of SAMH is statutorily responsible for the planning, evaluation, and implementation of a comprehensive statewide system of care for the prevention, treatment, and recovery of children and adults with serious mental illnesses or substance use disorders. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE TALLAHASSEE OFFICE. This is a highly responsible and professional position that will serve as aGovernment Operations Consultant IIIoverseeing the Jail:based Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)/Jail Bridge and Court Diversion Programs.This position will collaborate with each section within the program office and be required to use independent judgement, take initiative in carrying out duties and responsibilities and should be extraordinarily detail oriented. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include: : Overseeing the Jail:based MAT/Bridge and Court Diversion Programs.: Creating and updating all guidance documents and resource guides related to Jail:based MAT/Bridge and Court Diversion Programs.: Monitoring activities/data to ensure compliance with the contract and guidance documents.: Providing related technical assistance to Regional and HQ SAMH staff, Managing Entities, as well as relevant stakeholders, professional organizations, and other state agencies.: Review and approve related contract deliverables.: Working collaboratively with multiple programs and components, including Prevention and State Opioid Response grant staff and staff involved in other special projects.: Conducting outreach and providing technical assistance to current and future Jail Bridge partners.: Identifying and resolving challenges related to Jail:based MAT/Jail Bridge and Court Diversion Programs.: Compile data and draft reports to be submitted to leadership.: Hold regularly scheduled calls for organizations implementing programs in your assigned area. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the position: : Knowledge of treatment and recovery support services for opioid use disorders.: Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.: Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.: Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.: Ability to communicate effectively.: Ability to plan, organize and faciliate meetings.: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.: Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to management analysis activities.: Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the i
