POSITION OVERVIEW:Under the direction of the Team Manager, the Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical equipment and makingrepairs. RESPONSIBILITIES:Lockout AuthorizedTroubleshooting Mechanic and RepairsMachine Adjustments with ToolsMinor Fabrication of PartsElectrical Troubleshooting and RepairsRead Schematics and BlueprintsLimited PLC TroubleshootingPreventive MaintenanceProduct ChangeoverImplement Ideas to Improve Line EfficienciesQuality ChecksHousekeepingMaterial HandlingMaintain good safety practices.Act as an emergency brigade for fires, searches, and/or evacuations as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must have at least three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Must be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication and team based skills.Being a self:starter as well as a problem:solver are required assets.Be able to work a rotating 12 hour shift : hours can vary.
