CORPORATE CONTROLLER ROLE OVERVIEWThis role will support all financial operations including accounting, finance, FP&A, and M&A. Works with the CFO in establishing and maintaining the organization?s accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Leads the process of analyzing reporting variances, maintaining general ledger and related systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Develops management reports, coordinates, and monitors financial budgets, and ensures financial reporting is by generally accepted accounting principles. Participates in the preparation of budgets and organization planning and forecasting process. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including the coordination of the activities of outside auditors. RESPONSIBILITIES? Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.? Management of financial statements and accounting records, including:? Month-end closing procedures.? Monthly accounting reconciliations? Fixed asset maintenance? Preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements and management reports? Sales and use tax filings.? Performs Bank Reconciliation and Credit Card Reconciliation? Analyzes, investigates, and corrects accounting entries as needed using knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.? Management of annual financial planning and monthly forecasting processes? Coordinates audit processes and takes the lead in ensuring execution.? Maintains files and supporting schedules that support auditing by external auditors.? Maintains files on Fixed Assets, including acquisitions, and disposal, and performs annual inventory.? Offer necessary training and assistance to reinforce the organization?s accounting infrastructure. REQUIREMENTS? Bachelor?s degree in accounting required.? Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) experience required? 7+ years of applicable experience? CPA preferred? Knowledge and application of GAAP COMPENSATIONA meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance-based bonus.
