Job Details Job Location : Flower Mound - Flower Mound, TX Salary Range : $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 Salary Description Position Summary This position will identify and translate customer needs into product specifications and marketing collateral. This position will also leverage market data for insightful portfolio decisions and be responsible for full product lifecycle management. In addition to supporting the product development team, this position will collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure the portfolio's success. Essential Functions and Duties Market Analysis Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to identify market needs and opportunities that RNI can deliver against. Collaborate with FFF Commercial team to direct and lead customer interviews/observations to capture Voice of the Customer, develop insights, and inform the product roadmap. Monitor competitive landscape and market trends. Understand competitive, emerging, and complementary technology and provides relevant reports on its impact to RNI's product lines. Define the customers, market opportunity, and go-to-market approach. Roadmap Development Create the product roadmap and release milestones in alignment with the company's long-term objectives. Develop business justification for recommendations and gain alignment across key stakeholders on project prioritization. Utilize knowledge of competition, market segments, and product potential to identify and propose new opportunities. Product Development Prepare and present business case, product definition, pricing, sales forecast, feature/benefits, etc. at Stage-Gate meetings. Lead definition of next-generation products and services aligned with customer needs and company's long-term targets. Create User Needs and Marketing Requirements document that incorporates features/benefits. Provide input to the product development team on behalf of the customer during design and development meetings. Work with Engineering, Software Development, Operations, Technology Services, and Manufacturing in a cross functional team environment to successfully execute the project goals and objectives. Facilitate tradeoff discussions with design teams while keeping the needs of the customer and the business in mind. Secure market input to improve and enhance products from post-launch customer feedback. Product Commercialization & Go-To-Market Establish product positioning, messaging, and pricing. Partner with FFF team members to develop and implement specific product launch activities. Develop and refine marketing collateral. Direct marketing spend to optimize commercial impact. Support of selling and training activities through field training, field visits, manufacturer visits, etc. Other Operates office equipment: computer, scanner, printer, copier, fax, 10 Key, calculator, and phone. Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws. Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives. Always represent the Company in a professional manner and appearance. Understand and internalize the Company's purpose, Display loyalty to the Company and its organizational values. Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Required Knowledge: General knowledge of advanced concepts, practices and procedures related to product management and development. Preferred Knowledge: Software development lifecycle and agile management tools. Required Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in product management, sales, marketing or related engineering. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in Ophthalmology and/or Dermatology. Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience. MBA or advanced degree. Required Skills: Ability to understand market and technology trends and regularly educate the organization on these existing and emerging technologies. Capacity for strategic thinking, project planning and project management. Good communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills. Communicates technical expertise with confidence one-on-one and in front of groups. Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and database and project management software. Ability to work independently with a focus on detail and execution. Capable of understanding and effectively communicating complex product concepts and scientific information in layman terms. Effective team leadership, interpersonal and delegation skills. Ability to manage several complex projects in parallel. Physical requirements Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting. Mental Demands Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations' situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
