We share a passion for pets and the unique bond that pet owners have with their dogs and cats.Machine Operator is to be proficient in every aspect of properly operating a Palletizer or Bagger machine at the highest reasonable speed.Work Environment: Work is primarily performed indoors near operating equipment and loud noise, such as forklift horns and loose particles may be present. Work performed in this job requires employee to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots and safety glasses at all times.Duties:As directed and trained, operate the bagger machineOperate and perform routine adjustments and changeover functions. Specific examples would be adjustments for pallet or bag configuration.Operate printer, layouts and computer settings.Perform and comply with all SOP'sPerform product stack configurationsMaintain accurate, complete and legible paperwork.Conduct changeovers.Keep supplies available to both bagger and palletizer at all timesTroubleshoot minor operating problemsRemove full pallets from palletizer and store them properly in the warehouse, damage free.Communicate production status to oncoming shift personnel.Supply Bagging with needed packaging (bags), following FIFO rotation12 hour shifts rotating weekends Qualifications : Must be able to work under pressure, maintaining a positive, professional attitude with employees and vendors. Must be able to work overtime, participate in all safety programs. Maintain GMP in accordance to the company policy.his position is NOT funded for relocation and is open for immediate hiring.At Diamond Pet Foods, we believe in family.
