Volt is immediately hiring Cyber Security Engineer in Aurora, CO.As Cyber Security Engineer you will: * Looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a Cyber Security Engineer position supporting Continuous Monitoring and maintenance of Authority to Operate on customer. * The ideal candidate will have a cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and enterprise information security infrastructure. * Review and adjudicate Tenable/Nessus Findings. * Vulnerability and compliance scanning and mitigation. * STIG manual hardening checks. * Plan of action and milestones (POAM) work off. * Assessment and Authorization Support (A&A). * Cybersecurity engineering in support of system development.This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Clearance Required: Active SecretRequired Experience: * Demonstrated experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus for vulnerability and compliance assessment. * Hands on experience in manual hardening and system compliance. * An advanced degree in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience. * Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37, NIST Special Publication 800-53 and NIST Special Publication 800-171. * Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II (Security+ or equivalent) Compliant Certification.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Understanding of DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes, assessing and validating compliance with IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation. * Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-III (CISSP or equivalent) Compliant Certification. * Self-Starter requiring limited direction and supervision.Pay Rate: $90.00 - $97.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
