Food service supervisor (NOC 6311/62020)S and T Allard Food Ltd. o/a Tim Hortons –215 3rd Street East, Fox Creek, AB, T0H 1P0• Salary: $19.00 / hour• 6 vacancies• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 35 to 44 hours / week• Start date: As soon as possible• Benefits: Extended basic health coverage 50% paid by the employer. Free Duty meals and beverages. • Employment conditions: must be available to work in any shift including early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekends, holidays. $1 premium if work the overnight shift (10.30pm to 7am)Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of supervisory experience with some food industry experience. Ability to Supervise: up to10 people Work Setting: Fast food restaurant Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Weight handling up to 23kg. Personal Suitability: Team player, Effective interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Client focus Job duties and Responsibilities: Assist management to Establish work schedules and methods to meet work schedules. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Assist management to hire food service staff. Assist management to prepare budget and cost estimates. Address customers’ complaints or concerns Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food Estimate and order ingredients, supplies and inventory Ensure food service and quality control Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports and cash handling.
