Our Refining services are crucial to resolving customer operational challenges. From managing feed-stock flexibility to meeting regulatory requirements to maximizing operating efficiency, all while minimizing safety risks and staying economical. We provide an integrated suite of high-performance equipment, chemicals, real-time data and services to increase profitability and extend asset life. Partner with the best As District Manager, you will be providing mentorship to our refinery site teams on chemical and technical support for our customers across your operating area. You will ensure that we deliver a successful service through promoting best in class sales and service standards for managing chemical applications and delivering value adding solutions. You will take ownership for growth and sales development to support the changing needs of our customer base.As a Downstream Chemicals District Manager, you will be responsible for:Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to assess future needs and requirements to understand forecast activities.Ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery to our customers through effective planning of resourcesDeveloping quality plans in line with our job cycle process to ensure risks are mitigated.Overseeing your team's contracts and quotes to ensure we harvest our contracts and monitor outstanding customer financialsMonitoring your departmental budget and Purchase Ledger to track areas of spendCoaching, developing, and mentoring your team to share knowledge, skills and insight Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:Have a degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in oil and gas chemicals sales and service.Refinery experience preferred.Demonstrate solid knowledge and experience of chemicals sales or service or similarHave experience in managing P&LsBe able to travel regionally up to 50% with some overnightsBe experienced at balancing high-pressure work and tight deadlinesDemonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external customers, teams and suppliers Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
