Math Tutor - LBJ, Macon 19.19, hrly, part-time Assignment : An opening for a math tutor at LBJ, day class. Tutor will provide instructional support to students in essential mathematics, introductory algebra and geometry to prepare them for the High School Equivalency test. Tutoring will be done in a small group setting or one-on-one. Qualifications :Enjoy working with adult learners and understand the different teaching principles needed to engage adults in the learning process. Maintain accurate recordsAssist in student retentionSubmit all college reports in an accurate timely fashionAttend instructor meetings as scheduledBe responsible for professional development and maintaining professional competenceEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and others Education :Bachelor's degree (or currently working toward degree)Strong math background and skillsPrefer candidate to have prior teaching experience Keywords:Math, Tutor
