Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise. Senior Civil Engineer Hatch has an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to work on several ongoing projects out of our Calgary office. This person will perform general civil engineering and design activities involving site preparation, grading, drainage, roads, paving, etc. for mining and heavy industrial projects. Required Skills: Earthworks design Site grading design Drainage design, storm sewers design, and stormwater management Roads geometric design and pavement design. Sanitary sewers design Hydrology and hydraulics Open channel and culvert design Proposal and reports writing Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading the civil project team through to completion of assigned projects in areas of bulk earthworks, site drainage, mine and plant roads and earth and mine tailings structures design.
