ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT: The Front-End Web Developer will ensure that the website is maintained, current, functioning, engaging, and meets industry standards. The role is responsible for central website development, which includes design, maintenance, and publishing. MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Enhance and maintain Ontario Northland’s web presence. Perform regular maintenance such as replacing images, posting service updates, schedules, blog posts, documents, and more. Post new content and improve functionality to ensure a visitor has a positive and engaging experience. Liaise with content stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Ensures that translations are made to meet the requirements of the French Language Service Act and meet accessibility requirements. Integrates third-party platforms into the website and ensures they meet brand style requirements and function properly Works closely with the team to ensure all promotional campaigns have a digital presence. Assists and delivers technical training to employees about how to post to the web and submit content.
