We currently have an opening for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the tasks of a team of accounting clerks and bookkeepers. Duties and responsibilities: • Streamline processes and oversee employees handling tasks including managing accounts, processing financial documents, administering payrolls, and collecting payments• Validate and approve routine transactions, payments, and credits, ensuring accuracy in all endeavors• Create efficient work schedules and procedures, seamlessly coordinating activities with other departments or units• Troubleshoot work-related issues, while also crafting and submitting progress reports• Define training requirements and provide guidance to employees, acquainting them with job duties and company policies• Effectively manage supply requisitions, ensuring a well-stocked inventory• Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and equipment, arranging necessary maintenance and repair tasks• Engage in the same tasks as supervised workers, showcasing your hands-on leadership approach. Requirements: • A college program or courses in bookkeeping, accounting or a related subject is a must• At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Supervisor, Financial accounting supervisor or similar role• Experience in the clerical occupation supervised is a must• Excellent English skills• Ability to guide and motivate the accounting team, set clear expectations, and lead by example• Strong.
