Senior Attorney (Employment Law) Our Inhouse Legal function is seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer to support the European business, based out of our amazing 'Forever Home' campus in Watford, UK. This is a newly created role, where you will partner at all levels with our HR function and other areas of the business on a broad range of employment related matters. Key Responsibilities : Partnering with HR and our external counsel to provide legal guidance / support on a range of issues across Europe (e. plex grievance and disciplinary issues, employment disputes, developing and reviewing employment contracts and policies). Advising on employment related privacy issues and liaising with TJX's global privacy team on issues requiring escalation. Supporting our Commercial Legal team in relation to employment aspects of commercial contracts and outsourcings. Thinking strategically and assisting with proactive management of employment legal risk: Managing case reporting across the jurisdictions and identifying trends and risk areas. Providing training and updates to HR and other business stakeholders. Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience : Significant breadth of post qualified experience in a reputable Law firm and/or an In: house position.Experience in managing legal advice from other jurisdictions.Experience in industrial relations and collective issues across Europe.Able to operate on complex matters with independently while collaborating with a range of stakeholders.Capable of building and maintaining a network of effective working relationships.Highly self: motivated, flexible and pro: active: Strong communication and influencing skills : Excellent commercial awareness, with a pragmatic, solution: based approach to issues, and an ability to think at a strategic, risk: focussed level.Ability to influence and build relationships across organisational and geographic boundaries.High personal impact and ability to gain credibility and establish trust quickly Come.
