Job: Field Service Engineer Location: Leicester Term: Permanent Salary: GBP 32,000: GBP 37,500 Hours of work: Monday : Thursday 08:30 : 17:30 / Friday 08:30 : 12:30 Premier Engineering has engaged with a global and hugely successful Design and Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the Special Process Machinery industry and high: profile clients. Due to team and project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join on a permanent basis. This company is located in Leicester. Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities: : Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair on EDM, Laser and STEM equipment. : Completing Preventative Maintenance tasks and provide training courses both onsite and inhouse. : Maintain communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow up. : Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure they are correctly calibrated. : Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and spare part sales. : Multiskilled role with some pneumatics. : Ability to read circuit diagrams. Field Service Engineer Key Skills / Qualifications: : Valid Driving License : Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and electrical equipment. : Experience with troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns. : Proficient level of computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. : Ability to align multi axis machines to high tolerances.
