Job Title: Senior Library Assistant Location: Birmingham Salary: GBP25,138 : GBP25,742 per annum : SS2 Job type: Permanent, Full: time University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick : Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023. The Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen within UCB Library and Learning Services for the role of Senior Library Assistant. You will be part of a close: knit team supporting UCB students and staff to locate and order academic resources as well as helping to maintain our online collections of journals and e Books. You will also work closely with the Library Assistant team to support higher: level queries and with the Academic Librarian and management team to consistently innovate the Librarys services. With an ever: increasing portfolio of digital library resources, you will have strong digital skills and a willingness to learn new systems as well as providing excellent customer service to support UCBs students and wider departments. Whilst experience in a Library would be advantageous it is not essential as full training will be provided.
