Position: Drywall Installer and Finisher Location: Edmonton, Alberta and various locations Salary: $30.00 hourly for 40 hours per week Anticipated start date: As soon as possible Number of positions:6 Job Requirements Language English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience3 year to less than 5 years On the road job Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Transportation/Travel Information Own vehicle Valid driver's licence Tasks Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Security and Safety Criminal record check Drug test Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Work Location Information Various locations Personal Suitability Excellent oral communication Flexibility Reliability Employer Details Employer D&R Interiors Inc Business Address8742 51 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 5E8 How to apply By email:.
