We are looking for a full-time home support worker for my dad. Newcomers to Canada, Visible minorities, persons with disabilities, indigenous people, and vulnerable youth are welcome to apply. Job Title: Home Support Worker (NOC 44101)Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent, 40 Hours / Week Language Required: English Wage: $27.5 dollars/hour Location of Work: Employer's private home at Vancouver BC. V6M 3A9Start Date: ASAPPosition Available: 1 Job Duties: • Providing companionship and personal care for my dad (70 years old with chronic illness and mobility challenges. ). • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and general tidying to maintain a clean and safe environment. • Assist my dad with personal care tasks, such as dressing and personal hygiene. • Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor or nurse, and keep record of medication schedules and dosage. • Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences. Help with feeding if needed. • Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, or watching TV together.
