Located in Barrie, on 29 Hambly Court, we invite experienced, skilled tradesmen and womento apply for a role we are very interested: Tile Fitter. Recently we have been specializing in kitchen and kitchen floor renovations and we are interested in hiring a full-time permanent Tile Fitter who can help us satisfy our clients. Job Description: - Operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut, shape and form wood- Fitting parts together using glue and clamps- Reinforcing joints using nails or screws- Trimming joints- Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finished products- Repairing or restyling wooden furniture or fixtures- Marking outlines or dimensions on wood- Preparing or interpreting drawings or blueprints Job Requirements: Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker, with a portfolio of completed works. The ability to visualize spaces to create appropriate furniture. Good arithmetic skills. Excellent teamwork and customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship. Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
