Competition # Posting End Date: August 23, 2023 City: Winnipeg Work Location: Misericordia Hospital Department: Breast Check Union: MAHCP Hiring Status: Casual Anticipated Start: ASAP FTE: 0 Anticipated Shift: d ays/modified days/evenings/weekends Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Salary: $30.879, $32.296, $33.774, $35.375, $37.044, $38.798 Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager - Breast Check, the incumbent will be responsible for providing and performing quality service to the clients of Breast Check at the Winnipeg and Mobile Screening clinics, in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. Qualifications: Required: Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiological Technology education program. Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 CAMRT courses. If no one meets this qualification, CCMB reserves the right to consider completion of courses within two years. A member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB) or eligible to obtain and be an active member prior to start date. Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists. Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems. Must have a valid Manitoba Driver’s License.
