Our client has three sites in the UK and are now looking for a confident and driven Mechanical Design Engineer - Electro-Mechanical to join the team to bring strong knowledge and innovative design skills. The ideal candidate will have strong experience testing electro-mechanical products using standard workshop test equipment such as oscilloscope and digital multi-meters. Also being able to fault find down to component level, as well as being able to read complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams and PCB schematics. This Test Engineer - Electronics will have a blend of the following skills/Experience: test equipment such as power supplies, digital multi-meters & oscilloscopes. Fault-find electro-mechanical equipment. Able to read complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams and PCB schematicinteractioncellent knowledge of manual testing electrical and electro-mechanical systems Desirable but not essential: Knowledge of automated test software. PLC programming. Experience in CAD packages. Good knowledge of digital camera and video protocols. - Please note, due to the nature of the business, staff need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance as a mandated requirement.
