JOB: Contentious Probate Solicitor LOCATION: Edgerton An award winning, Legal 500 recommended firm with offices across Yorkshire. We are looking for a Solicitor to join our busy Contentious Probate team and welcome applications from all levels 5PQE+You will be either a solicitor already working in a Contentious probate team or a civil litigation Solicitor with a minimum 5PQE looking to retrain and specialise in Contentious Probate. Ideally some experience of working on Contentious Probate matters would be desirable but not essential as the firm is able to retrain the right candidate. This could be a fantastic opportunity for a more experience solicitor to step into a Team Leader role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded specialist Contentious Probate team dealing with a range of inheritance disputes and probate litigation. Requirements: • You will be a Contentious Probate solicitor or Civil litigation Solicitor with a minimum 5PQE looking to specialise in Contentious Probate matters. Experience of dealing with contentious probate matters is preferable but not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate. • You will be expected to get involved in the Team's business development activities• You will be able to work under supervision and manage your own caseload of contentious probate and trusts• You will be keen and willing to engage in relevant networking events• You will be expected to assist in supervising more junior members of staff, delegating appropriate work to paralegals and supporting more senior team members on large complex matters.
