Job Description Reporting to the Director of Service & Repair, the Production Manager will be responsible for managing production resources and activities within the repair department to achieve customer satisfaction. This will be accomplished by meeting quality, cost, and delivery goals. The Production Manager will also coordinate with other departments to develop and implement productivity improvements to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness of resources. Additionally, the role involves working with Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance to coordinate all production activities involved in the introduction of new products. The position requires grasping the larger business perspective and effectively translating it into specific and actionable activities. Job Duties Oversees the overall flow of repairs throughout the shop floor to achieve maximum efficiency and meet or exceed turnaround times. Establishes and actively promotes improvement programs based on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD). Coordinates and analyzes service records and procedures in support of implementing and tracking corrective and preventive action activities (CAPA) related to RA/QA direction. Works with the Operations Department to identify parts and supplies needed to support production and ensure they are available according to schedules.
